Synopsis
Thor and Sif travel to Earth to find Marie Thomas, a young woman who has been possessed by the spirit of the Asgardian goddess Sif. Marie has been using her newfound powers for good, but Thor fears that she will eventually lose control and become a danger to herself and others.
Thor and Sif find Marie in New York City, where she is using her powers to help the homeless. Thor tries to convince Marie to return to Asgard with him, but she refuses. She believes that she can use her powers to make a difference on Earth, and she is not ready to give them up.
Thor and Sif respect Marie's decision, but they warn her that she must be careful. They tell her that the power of the gods is not to be taken lightly, and that she must use it wisely.
Marie agrees to be careful, and Thor and Sif return to Asgard. However, Marie soon finds herself in over her head. She is attacked by a group of criminals who are trying to steal her powers. Marie fights back, but she is overpowered and nearly killed.
Thor senses Marie's distress and returns to Earth. He finds Marie badly injured, but still alive. Thor takes Marie back to Asgard, where she is healed by the Asgardian healers.
Once Marie is fully recovered, Thor offers her a choice. She can either stay in Asgard and learn to control her powers, or she can return to Earth and live a normal life. Marie chooses to return to Earth, but she promises Thor that she will use her powers for good.
Thor and Sif return to Asgard, and Marie Thomas returns to her life on Earth. She continues to use her powers to help others, and she becomes a symbol of hope for those who are struggling.
