Tom at the Farm is a 2013 Canadian drama film directed by Xavier Dolan and starring Xavier Dolan, Pierre-Yves Cardinal, and Lise Roy. Plot
Tom (Xavier Dolan) is a young man who travels to a remote farm to attend the funeral of his lover, Guillaume (Pierre-Yves Cardinal). While there, he meets Guillaume's mother, Agathe (Lise Roy),and his brother, Francis (Evelyne Brochu). Agathe is a domineering and possessive woman, and Francis is a violent and unstable man. Tom soon realizes that he is not welcome on the farm, and that he is in danger.
As Tom tries to uncover the truth about Guillaume's death, he becomes increasingly entangled in a web of lies and secrets. He learns that Guillaume was not the man he thought he was, and that he had been involved in a dangerous affair. Tom also discovers that Agathe and Francis are hiding a dark secret of their own.
As the tension on the farm intensifies, Tom finds himself fighting for his life. He must confront his own fears and demons, and he must find a way to escape the farm before it's too late.
